Welcome to Negativ5! This is a space for those of you who don't like spending money on stuff that you could get for free. Especially software. You can't not mention software. Right now, I'm running Ubuntu 9.10, on a computer that I built, using gEdit to write what you are looking at right now. The 'Negativ5' logo was created with the gimp (far better value-for-money than photoshop.) If you are stuck down with bought software, go to the Software page, and start downloading!

As well as free software, free, or home-made hardware is just as fun, but far more work (damn!) head to Instructables.com to look at (my) DIY projects, as well as many, many more, amazing projects.
